WE ARE LOOKING FOR A

Program Manager Aerospace (m/f/d)

The tasks include

  • Overall management and control of the programs and projects assigned to you, including responsibility for costs, deadlines, and performance
  • Setting up, organizing, and leading teams, resources, processes, and tools for successful program implementation
  • Developing and monitoring program baselines, risks, opportunities, and resource plans
  • Ensuring clear internal and external communication of all program goals and requirements
  • Resolving conflicts, priorities, and unplanned issues; developing appropriate measures and escalation strategies
  • Regularly reporting program status to company management
  • Establishing and maintaining working relationships with engineering, quality, production, finance, and purchasing, as well as suppliers and customers
  • In supplier management: controlling the cost, schedule, and performance targets of key suppliers

Technical requirements

  • Degree in engineering or natural sciences or comparable qualification; 5–10 years of relevant experience in aviation
  • Proven experience in managing complex development, testing, and certification projects (>€5 million)
  • Experience in managing technical innovations and building multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in managing and evaluating suppliers, as well as preparing SOWs, bid evaluations, and negotiations

Personal requirements

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Confident use of risk and opportunity management, as well as planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)
  • Excellent communication skills and experience with management presentations
