Alternative Fuels (Whitefox)

At HEGGEMANN, uncompromising quality standards and reliability are at the core of everything we do.
In our specialised series production, we assemble filter cartridges from supplied individual parts in a purpose-designed fixture with absolute precision.

Each cartridge then undergoes a strictly monitored leakage test, where the required flow rate is verified with exacting accuracy. This ensures our products operate reliably, even under the most demanding conditions.

On delivery, every cartridge is accompanied by full documentation providing complete traceability of assembly, testing, and quality – for maximum transparency and safety.

Fuel Cell Water Separator

Our water separator has been fully developed at HEGGEMANN and is already in successful operation across automotive, maritime, and aerospace applications. The system reliably removes excess water from gas mixtures – a key technology for maximising the efficiency of fuel cells.

Excess moisture reduces the performance of the fuel cell. With a separation rate of up to 98%, our component creates optimal conditions for energy conversion. The result: higher performance, improved reliability, and longer system lifetime.

Heat Exchanger

The welded Inconel heat exchanger is part of a technology for long-term thermal energy storage (TES). Energy is stored as heat in a phase change material (PCM) – an aluminium alloy heated to 600 °C – and then converted into electricity using a Stirling engine.

This technology enables long-duration electricity storage and can also provide heat on demand.
